Learning from Home Hub

2020-21

*Updated January 2021 to reflect the period of further school closure*

Welcome to the updated ‘Learning from Home Hub’. There are a number of different reasons why you may find the need to work from home, for example;

  • Emergency school closure, e.g. as a result of the coronavirus, COVID-19
  • If you are displaying symptoms and self-isolating

It is difficult to predict when these circumstances can take place, therefore it is really important that if you are unable to attend school for a short period of time or longer term, you have access to teaching materials so that you can continue with your learning. To access the learning materials and resources, please click on the Related Pages panel opposite for your Year Group. Here you will find links to Virtual Learning Platforms such as MathsWatch or Seneca, and:

  • Your visual remote learning timetable
  • Links to access pre-recorded learning videos delivered by the Oak National Academy
  • Two weeks’ worth of learning tasks, set by your teachers, for each year group from Year 7 to Year 14.
  • Links to exam bodies where revision and past paper materials can be downloaded
  • Instructions for which textbook or workbook to use

By completing these tasks, we can ensure that you will not fall behind with your learning and can resume normal classes as soon as you are able to attend school.

Good luck with your studying.
