Riverston Pupils in Chess Finals

Ten Riverston pupils have qualified for the Megafinals of the Delancey Chess Challenge tournament to be held at Bishop Justus CofE School, in Bromley on Saturday 26 May.

The series of matches held at the school during the Spring Term proved to be the decisive factor for qualification, and Mr Bennett is extremely pleased that so many pupils have been so keen and enthusiastic about taking part.

At the Megafinals, the contestants will play against other players of the same age group under timed conditions.

We wish the chess experts the very best of luck in the finals and hope that we have a tournament winner to shout about.
