Film Festival a Roaring Success

What an amazing afternoon of silver screen talent on show.

The 8 films written, produced and directed by pupils from Years 7 to 11 were shown in the Small Hall to all the school, served up with popcorn to enjoy whilst watching the filmstars.

Horror, Comedy, Tragedy and Absurdity were all part of the scenes, the acting superb and the filming inspring! What fantastic talent we have here at Riverston.

Year 5/6 put on a live performance of "Pandora's Box" on stage which was a result of their years' work in Drama studies. A fantasic display of talent. Well done! 

The event was orgainsied by Miss Pugh who has worked undauntedly throughout the year to encourage, coach and develop the acting and producing ability of our students.

Thank you Miss Pugh for a great afternoon's entertainment. Recognition must also be given to her fellow colleagues Mr Jasper (costumes) Mr Northwood and Mrs Lesnaja for their help and encouragement.
